Before your first trade
1
Create a Kash account
Sign up at app.kash.bot. See Creating an Account.
2
Connect your X account
Sign in with X, or connect X later from Settings → Account. The bot recognises you by your connected X account.
3
Give your wallet trading permission
You give this once, during onboarding. If you skipped it, the bot will tell you to finish it in the app.
4
Add USDC
Trades are paid from the USDC in your own wallet. See Depositing.
Placing a trade
Find the market’s post on X, then either reply to it (anywhere in its thread) or quote it, and mention @kash_bot_trade with your amount and outcome:Rules and limits
- Reply to or quote the market post. A mention on its own, a pasted market link, or a quote of a post that isn’t a market won’t be traded.
- Trade size: the bot tells you if your amount is too small to trade.
- Act promptly: a mention that’s too old when it’s processed is refused rather than filled at a stale price.
- Open markets only: markets that have frozen, resolved or been cancelled can’t be traded.
- No transaction fee: trades placed on X don’t carry the network fee that web trades may include. The usual protocol fee applies.
Direct messages
You can DM the bot to:- check your balance, portfolio, P&L, trade history and pending trades
- get the prices on a market or discover markets
- request an export of your data
Your own X bot
Creators can connect their own X account in Settings → X bot. Kash then posts your markets from your account, and your followers can trade them by replying to your posts. Disconnecting revokes Kash’s access to your X account and stops the posts.Kash will never DM you asking for your private key, a login code or a “verification” deposit. Deposits, withdrawals and claims happen in the web app.
